Other supportive programming This service opportunity is highlighting one of our youth programming called Mosaic Life Skills Academy.

Member Duties :

AmeriCorps members serve as life Afterschool Life Skills Coach for our Mosaic Life Skills Academy. Members will facilitate interactive, small-group sessions for youth in Grades 2-8 during afterschool hours. Members guide students through practical modules designed to build confidence, resilience, and real-world capabilities. Key Responsibilities Facilitate Life Skills Groups regarding the following topics:

Dream Savers:

Teach financial literacy basics, including money management, goal setting, and saving habits.

•

Junior Entrepreneur:

Guide students in building business plan basics, marketing, public speaking, and preparing for the Children's Business Fair.

•

Healthy Lifestyle:

Lead coaching tracks covering physical and emotional well-being. You will specifically facilitate programming focused on culinary arts, social-emotional learning, leadership development, and civic engagement alongside nutrition, mindfulness, and conflict resolution.
