We operate as a Texas Rising Stars 3-Star program, committed to excellence in safety, professionalism, and child development. We are a team-oriented program focused on accountability, consistency, and positive youth development. Position Overview The Youth Development Instructor supports daily after-school programming by supervising students, leading structured activities, assisting with homework, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. This role requires reliability, professionalism, and consistency. Core Responsibilities Supervise and engage elementary-age students in structured activities Assist with homework support periods Maintain safe classroom ratios and environments Communicate professionally with parents at pickup Utilize Brightwheel for documentation and communication within role scope Follow all licensing and Texas Rising Stars standards Support behavior management in alignment with PA Kids policies Participate in required staff trainings Non-Negotiable Standards Reliable attendance Monday-Friday, 2:45 PM
