Job Description
Sunbeam is a Reggio Inspired, nationally accredited childcare center seeking employees that believe early childhood education plays a vital role in our community. You must be hard-working and able to put our children first. We work as a team and need new team-oriented staff to join our seasoned teachers. Able to organize, work collaboratively in team environments, and maintain high level of confidentiality. Able to be reliable, responsible, and dependable. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; possess computer competence. Ability to quickly remove a child from an emergency situation. Ability to lift a child to effectively diaper. Adhere to NAEYC Code of Ethics in all situations. Follow and promote agency philosophy and mission; promote unity and teamwork within program and agency. Keep supervisor informed on all relevant matters. Must have an acceptable Criminal Investigation Background (CIB) check, may require Child Protective Services (CPS) check.
