Software Engineer Lead#26-02722 Pittsburgh, PA Strongsville, OH On-site Right to Hire Starts 3/02/2026 Ends 3/01/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer Lead for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH. This role is part of the Liquidity Risk Management team, operating within an Agile/Scrum environment. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Oracle database development, responsible for creating and leading the technical design of software solutions that handle very large data sets for banking and regulatory applications.

Responsibilities:

Create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions Propose and design software solutions to addressplex business needs Prepare technical and procedural documentation Facilitateplex problem resolution and provide technical guidance to colleagues Review coding, testing, and documentation of software modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities

Requirements:

Expert level hands-on Oracle database Development (PL/SQL) Experience with performance tuning Oracle queries Extensive experience in database design and programming with very large data sets in Oracle Knowledge and experience of data modeling and data warehouse concepts Prior knowledge of Banking (preferably Regulatory) applications dealing with large data sets Excellent written and verbalmunication skills Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Able to work on-site 5 days a week Desired skills: Experience with other databases (like Teradata) Knowledge and experience with DevOps Tools ETL (Informatica) experience Python and Shell scripting experience Oracle Certifications (OCP/OCE, Exadata, GoldenGate) Pay range: $60.70 - $68.70 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
