Job Description

Grá is a Michelin Bib dinner restaurant near Echo Park specializing in organic sourdough pizza, natural wine and elevated snacks, apps & desserts. We take inspiration from all over the world, also allowing the seasons to dictate our menu from one week to the next. We take great pride in serving creative food across the menu, from our Pistachio Pesto Pizza to Black Cod Crudo in dashi/brown butter, Seasonal Tartare, Pickled Cucumber Salad to Oyster Mushroom Pizza with porcini cream to name but a few; serving organic food in a delicious and authentic form. We are looking for a creative and passionate chef who has experience and ability of working to a high standard. You need to be professional, hard working, humble, positive and excited to be working in our kitchen. Having a knowledge of classic techniques is crucial with an appetite for modern execution. The menu's theme revolves around the beauty of natural fermentation from our sourdough pizza, natural wine to seasonal ferments. A lot of dishes will include a wide variety of fermentation techniques so its important you have a willingness to execute in this space. This is an hourly positon that also receives big tips!
