Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Long-Term Substitute Speech Language Pathologist, providing essential support to students in a vibrant school environment. This role offers the chance to work across two distinct assignment windows—late May to early June, and again from September through December—supporting an approximate speech-only caseload of 25 students with a service load near 45. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, with an emphasis on providing high-quality speech services during standard school hours.
Key Qualifications:
Current Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist license required CCC-SLP certification preferred (may vary by district) Strongly prefer prior school-based SLP experience Demonstrated skill in IEP compliance, documentation, and therapy scheduling Capable of managing direct services and conducting evaluations efficiently Experience with elementary and/or secondary students considered a plus Familiarity with Minnesota school regulations and compliance expectations Talent for quickly acclimating to ongoing caseloads with minimal transition timePrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver school-based speech-language services, including assessment, therapy, and intervention Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress and compliance Participate actively in IEP meetings and team collaboration Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and district guidelines Provide long-term substitute speech services during specified coverage periods Effectively manage a varied caseload within school settingsBenefits & Perks:
