Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity where your expertise in speech-language pathology directly benefits students across a vibrant network of communities. As a contract SLP, you'll have the flexibility to work full-time or part-time, shaping your schedule to fit your lifestyle, while making a lasting impact in educational settings. Serving schools within the cooperative, you'll be instrumental in assessing and supporting students' communication needs. Your day-to-day will range from smaller, focused groups of 10-12 students to more diverse caseloads of up to 50-55 children per week. This role is onsite and allows for placement at any of several school locations within an hour's reach of the main campus, offering a dynamic and varied professional environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Hold an active Kansas SLP license Earned Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) School-based SLP experience highly valued Strong ability to collaborate, communicate, and adapt within multidisciplinary teams Passion for advancing student access and success in communication

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct speech-language services to students onsite Maintain accurate and timely documentation following school and state guidelines Consult with teachers, staff, and families to reinforce strategies and foster student progress Participate actively in IEP meetings and school planning What to
