Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist at a thriving educational facility for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity provides the chance to contribute your expertise in speech and language therapy to a diverse student population, fostering meaningful communication and academic growth. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour workweek.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification required Pennsylvania Teaching Certification must be submitted with your application Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Prior experience in school-based SLP settings, working with K-12 students Strong diagnostic, assessment, and intervention planning skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
What You'll Do:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students across the building Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document student progress Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student communication needs Provide input and recommendations during student progress reviews and interdisciplinary meetings Remain up-to-date with best practices and state requirements in school-based speech therapy Maintain comprehensive, accurate records in compliance with school and legal standards
