Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $50,000 to $83,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities :

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including posting accruals, reconciling GL accounts and related ledgers, and adjusting year-end allowance for bad debt. Monitor bank accounts for unauthorized or suspicious activity, reconcile accounts monthly, and manage processes such as Positive Pay and on-line transactions. Compile financial reports and supporting documents for submission to CPA firms, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Ensure debt tracking system accurately reports on portfolio debt obligations. To include accurate amortizations, interest-rate adjustments, maturities and any other debt provisions material to the debt servicing and reporting. Facilitate effective communication with property teams, HUD, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with property financial requirements.
