Job Description

Strength & Conditioning Coach Group Training | Functional Fitness Gym Job Overview We're looking for a passionate, people-first Strength & Conditioning Coach to lead group classes at our gym. This role is about coaching , not babysitting. You'll actively teach movement, develop strength, and help members build confidence and awareness in their bodies. More than anything, we're searching for someone who genuinely cares—about people, about coaching, and about the life-changing power of fitness. Our gym is built on a welcoming, nonjudgmental community, and this coach will play a key role in strengthening both our athletes and our culture. If you're energized by helping people grow, love teaching, and believe fitness should be empowering rather than intimidating, you'll feel right at home here. Key Responsibilities Lead engaging, well-structured group strength and conditioning classes Teach members about their movement practice, helping them develop long-term body awareness and confidence Create an inclusive, welcoming environment where athletes of all backgrounds feel supported Uphold and represent the gym's values both on and off the coaching floor Continue learning and improving as a coach through education and feedback
What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and a love for teaching A genuine passion for helping people improve their lives through fitness
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience coaching group fitness classes CF-L1 or higher Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field Strong background in barbell training
