Teacher Aides for Daycare / Childcare Assistant

Collingdale Academy and our brand-new sister location, Norwood Academy , are looking for enthusiastic Teacher Aides to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for ECE students, recent graduates, or anyone with a love for working with young children to gain meaningful, resume-building experience in a licensed Montessori-inspired childcare environment. What You'll Be Doing Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children Assist with transitions, meals, nap time, and outdoor play Observe and document children's activities and progress Communicate warmly with parents during drop-off and pick-up Step in wherever the classroom needs you What We're Looking For A genuine love for working with young children Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related program (preferred) Reliable, energetic, and a strong team player Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Clearance, and Criminal Background Check (or willingness to obtain) Previous experience in a childcare, camp, tutoring, or youth program setting is a plus What We Offer $12-$15/hour based on experience Real hands-on experience in a Montessori-inspired classroom A supportive, team-oriented environment at two growing academy locations Opportunity to grow into a Lead Teacher role over time A chance to make a genuine difference in children's lives every day

Pay:
