Job Description
Join the Intuit Sales Data Science & Analytics team as a Manager 3, Data Science (GBSG Sales) focused on driving growth by leveraging data-driven insights in close partnership with Sales leaders. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Group Manager, Data Science to lead a high-performing team focused on transforming Sales through advanced analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI. This leader will be responsible for defining the strategic roadmap, building scalable AI-powered capabilities, and delivering measurable business impact across the end-to-end sales lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in data science and AI with strong business acumen, executive stakeholder management, and a passion for applying Generative AI to solve complex sales challenges. This role will partner closely with Sales Leadership to drive growth, productivity, and customer outcomes. Responsibilities
- Influence strategic business decisions and operational decisions by conducting customer segmentation & profiling, sales funnel analysis, sales win/loss analysis, voice of customer analysis, etc.
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of data scientists, ensuring growth in technical depth, business acumen, and leadership skills.
- Drive an AI-first culture by leveraging and promoting the effective use of Generative AI tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance team productivity, improve analytical workflows, accelerate innovation, and scale data science impact.
- Partner with senior leaders in Sales to embed data-driven decision-making into core operating mechanisms.
- Develop and manage key success metrics and leading indicators for providing holistic understanding of how the business is performing and whether each initiative/program is delivering the desired outcomes.
- Proactive explore and identify new business opportunities to help business partners to achieve business goals.
- Communicate data and insights effectively to business partners of all levels including senior leadership team.
- Collaborate with other Data Science teams and data engineers to work on cross-functional projects or develop analytics/AI capabilities. Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in analytics or Data Science
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing a team of data scientists/analysts.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik.
- Multiple years of experience in applying advanced analytics techniques such as python, ML models, LLMs, etc., is highly preferred.
- Ability to create analytical frameworks for solving complex business problems with proven track record.
- Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical. Be able to communicate effectively with senior executives.
- Minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
