- The role is a part of the Tech Ops Performance & Analysis team within Operations Planning and Analytics group.
The Tech Ops Performance and Analysis team delivers data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making across the entire Tech Ops division. Their responsibilities include collaborating with business unit leaders to establish goals and objectives, offering guidance on achieving those targets, and monitoring organizational performance.

Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations._
+ Develop, monitor, and report on core Tech Ops metrics including delays/cancels, aircraft out of service, aircraft performance, line maintenance workload, manpower availability, etc.
+ Own day-to-day delivery of analytics, reports and dashboards to track performance and highlight opportunities.
+ Design, build, and govern scalable datasets for Tech Ops.
+ Promote data-driven decision-making across teams.
+ Upgrade tools and systems using modern data and reporting technologies.
+ Collaborate with operational and analytics teams to apply statistical methods for performance insights.
+ Conduct root-cause analysis to uncover operational bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and maintenance driver issues.
+ Lead and mentor a team of analysts, providing strategic direction and development.
+ Ensure high standards of data governance and data integrity across all maintenance data.
- All you'll need for success
- Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- + Bachelor's degree or Masters in Business Analytics, Operations Research, or similar + 3+ years' experience in data extraction, analysis and reporting, or operational strategy. + 3+ years of experience in aviation
- Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- + Previous experience in managing teams in analytical, data-intensive environments highly preferred. + Advanced familiarity with SQL, MS Excel, SAS, Python, PowerBI, Tableau and/or AzureML highly preferred
- Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- + Exceptional communication skills: ability to translate data into simple high-impact business case for stakeholders + Strong SQL skills, working knowledge of data visualization tools (e.
g. PowerBI), and knowledge of statistical methods.
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with ability to create insightful decks which convey a clear message.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of achieving results through collaborative efforts.
