Location:
 Peoria, IL•if not local and interested MUST be able to be onsite day 1 (2 weeks from offer) and relocate at own costs, swoon nor client fund relocation. Workplace type: 100% onsite
Type:
 contract Contract length: 12 months•beyond initial length of contract there is a chance of extension or conversion to full time
Pay:
 $70/hr on w2•no flex with rate IV process: 2 rounds after screenings
Screenings:
 full panel drug and background once hired (employment + education + felony) +optional benefits Must haves: min Bachelors degree Minimum 3 year Architect delivering AI/ML and automation solutions 7 years in software engineering and coding capability (Python, APIs, data pipelines) Must have experience in enterprise or industrial environments Experience working in Agile best practices (kanban journey) Experience designing scalable, production-grade architectures Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Preferred skills: Experience in manufacturing, IoT, or smart factory environments Knowledge of generative AI, predictive analytics, and advanced data platforms Experience supporting multi-site deployments and scaled solutions Certifications in AI/ML, cloud, or architecture frameworks Day to day: This person will be a hand on keyboard technical leader. Must have the ability to serve as a technical authority within domain. There are other AI Architects they can collab with in Brazil. Top skills required: •50% Architecture 50% coding. Goal is to move towards 75% Architecture in the future• Project Overview This role supports a global manufacturing organization focused on advancing modern manufacturing capabilities through AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. Working with geographically distributed teams, the position will help drive innovation across operational and business environments by enabling smarter, more connected ways of working. Position Summary This senior-level technical expert is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering AI-powered and automation solutions that align with the organization's modern manufacturing strategy. The role focuses on supporting digital transformation through smart operations, intelligent workflows, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision-making across manufacturing and corporate functions. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of AI and automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes. Serve as a technical authority within the AI and automation domain, providing guidance on architecture, best practices, and solution design. Partner with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement. Support the development of connected, intelligent, and increasingly autonomous operations through advanced technologies and digital capabilities. Collaborate with other technical leaders and architects across a global network to drive alignment and knowledge sharing. Provide hands-on technical leadership, contributing directly to solution development, implementation, and problem-solving.
