Job Description
About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Consultant to support the evaluation, adoption, and optimization of AI-powered productivity tools and capabilities across Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking. This role will help shape how teams leverage generative AI, copilots, workflow automation, and emerging agentic technologies to improve efficiency, enhance decision making, and drive measurable business outcomes. In this role, you will: Own the AI productivity and tooling roadmap for the desk/team, identifying where copilots, agents, and workflow automation can remove friction from existing processes rather than adding new tools for their own sake Continuously evaluate the fast-moving landscape of AI productivity tools (coding assistants, meeting/notes tools, research and drafting copilots, workflow orchestration platforms) and maintain a point of view on what is production-ready versus hype Run structured pilots and lightweight proofs-of-concept to validate new tools and techniques before recommending broader rollout, with clear criteria for adoption, sunset, or replacement Build internal enablement content — playbooks, prompt libraries, office hours, demos — that teach teams to use AI tools effectively rather than doing the work for them, scaling adoption through capability transfer ("teach to fish") Act as the go-to resource for practical AI tool questions across the team, translating individual pain points into repeatable solutions others can self-serve Track usage, adoption, and measurable productivity impact of deployed tools, and report back on ROI and friction points to guide investment decisions Stay current with vendor releases, model updates, and emerging best practices, and proactively flag when a new capability should change how the team works
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Artificial Intelligence experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Hands-on experience deploying or championing AI productivity tools (e.g., coding copilots, generative AI writing/research assistants, workflow automation) inside a corporate or financial services environment Track record of building enablement materials or training programs that drove self-sufficient adoption of new tools across a team, rather than one-off individual usage Comfort operating as an internal "power user" and evangelist — testing tools early, documenting what works, and coaching others rather than gatekeeping the capability Practical judgment on when a lighter-weight tool or workflow tweak beats a heavier AI/agentic build, balancing speed of adoption against long-term scalability Experience developing frameworks, standards, patterns, or architectural guidance that others adopt and scale Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and executive audiences Experience operating in highly regulated environments is preferred
