The main responsibility is to operate, maintain, and develop NGS algorithms/pipelines to achieve specific goals. This role requires strong programming skills and experience with NGS analysis tools.

Requirements:

B.S. in Bioinformatics or related field with 0-2 year experience. Good communication skills and teamwork ethics Relevant experience analyzing NGS sequencing data Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting Strong programming skills in Python. Perl, and R. Java and JavaScript familiarity is a plus. Experience in working with relational database, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL Familiar with version control, such as git Proficient with publicly available bioinformatics tools (e.g. BWA, SAMtools, GATK, etc), algorithms, and web tools (e.g. NCBI, UCSC, etc.)
