Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to support and continuously improve SAP Sales and Distribution processes within an

SAP S/4HANA

environment. This is a highly hands-on role focused on core SAP SD functionality, requiring a strong combination of functional expertise, business stakeholder engagement, solution design, configuration, troubleshooting, and production support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating at both the strategic and execution levels, taking ownership of solutions from requirements gathering and design through implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.

Responsibilities:

Lead support and continuous improvement initiatives for SAP SD processes within an

SAP S/4HANA

environment. Provide functional expertise across core SAP SD capabilities, with a strong focus on standard SD processes and configurations. Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions. Troubleshoot complex business and system issues, including hands-on configuration, testing, and debugging as needed. Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to align solutions with business needs. Provide solution design recommendations and ensure solutions follow SAP best practices. Support incident management, root cause analysis, change requests, and enhancement initiatives. Support complex cross-functional business processes and SAP integration scenarios. Provide leadership and guidance to team members across support and delivery activities. Help drive solutions from initial requirements through implementation and ongoing production support.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Strong functional expertise in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), including standard SD processes and configurations. Hands-on experience working in

SAP S/4HANA

environments. Demonstrated experience with SAP SD configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and issue resolution. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proven ability to engage directly with business stakeholders and drive solution discussions and design decisions. Strong understanding of SAP SD integration with Materials Management (MM), Controlling (CO), Financial Accounting (FI), and Customer Service (CS). Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a hands-on onsite consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP interfaces and integration scenarios. Knowledge of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR). Experience supporting complex SAP landscapes and cross-functional business processes. Experience balancing stakeholder management, solution design, configuration, and production support responsibilities. Proactive approach to identifying issues, recommending solutions, and driving continuous improvement.

Pay:

$60.00 - $68.25 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
