Position Type:
Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, self-managed Junior IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing front-line technical support, managing day-to-day office technology, and ensuring our core systems run smoothly. This position requires someone who takes initiative, manages their time effectively, and can prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities Self-Manage Daily Operations:
Independently prioritize incoming support requests, track project timelines, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT support requests, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and settings within Microsoft 365 (including Outlook and MS Teams ). Set up, configure, and deploy desktop workstations, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices for staff. Document support tickets, resolution steps, and technical processes to maintain an organized knowledge base.
Qualifications & Requirements Strong Self-Management:
Proven ability to work independently, manage workload priorities, and take ownership of tasks from end to end. 1-2 years of hands-on experience or relevant coursework in an IT support/helpdesk role. Strong working knowledge of administrative tasks in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook . Understanding of Windows operating systems, networking basics, and office hardware. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, customer-service mindset. Preferred Experience (A Plus!) Experience with QuickBooks (user administration, system updates, or basic troubleshooting). Familiarity with Fishbowl Inventory software or similar ERP/inventory management platforms.
