In this role, you will provide proactive technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure seamless operation of computer systems across the company. Your expertise will help empower users, optimize network performance, and uphold our commitment to reliable IT services. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues via help desk systems and direct assistance Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals efficiently Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory, including Active Directory management tasks such as GPO (Group Policy Object) configuration Support computer networking activities by configuring and maintaining LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, and firewall settings like Meraki or other security appliances Assist with software troubleshooting and updates for operating systems such as Windows and Linux, ensuring optimal performance across devices Maintain accurate customer support ticket management records using tools like BMC Remedy or Jira to track issue resolution progress Perform routine hardware support tasks including component replacement, equipment troubleshooting, and computer management to minimize downtime Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other productivity tools Strong technical troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, network systems, and operating environments Experience with help desk systems such as BMC Remedy or Jira for ticket tracking and issue resolution Knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls (e.g., Meraki), and network administration practices Familiarity with Windows support (including Active Directory management), Linux operating systems, SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), GPOs, DHCP configurations, and network troubleshooting techniques Ability to support various hardware components such as computers, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals effectively Excellent communication skills to provide clear guidance to users with diverse technical backgrounds Analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues quickly and accurately in IT infrastructure environments Join us in delivering exceptional IT support that keeps our organization running smoothly!
