Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Support Executive for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate is responsible for providing hands-on technical support for end-user devices, meeting room technologies, collaboration tools, and workplace IT infrastructure while ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Rate Range:
$55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Support Executive Job Responsibilities include:
Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and workplace IT infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, collaboration, and telephony-related issues while meeting defined service levels. Support meeting rooms, conferencing technologies, corporate events, and audio/video equipment to ensure seamless user experiences. Perform smart hands and eyes support activities for infrastructure, networking, and remote IT operations teams. Coordinate office moves, workstation setups, equipment installations, asset management, and end-user onboarding/offboarding activities. Manage incident escalations, monitor ticket queues, collaborate with Service Desk teams, and ensure high-quality customer support aligned with ITIL processes and SLA requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; relevant technical certifications are a plus. 6-8 years of experience in Desktop Support, End User Computing, IT Infrastructure Support, Onsite Support, or Service Desk Operations. Strong hands-on experience supporting PCs, laptops, mobile devices, meeting room technologies, collaboration tools, telephony systems, hardware troubleshooting, and smart hands support. Proven expertise in IT service management, incident resolution, desktop lifecycle management, office moves, asset management, SLA-driven support, and delivering exceptional end-user experiences in enterprise environments. Pay Details:
