In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing a wide range of security and low-voltage electrical systems. Your expertise will ensure the safety and security of our facilities through advanced system design, installation, and support of surveillance, alarm, access control, and telecommunication systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the integrity and reliability of critical security infrastructure. Duties Install, configure, and maintain electrical security systems including CCTV surveillance, alarm & access control systems, sensors, and fire alarm systems. Troubleshoot and repair complex security equipment such as IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), low-voltage wiring, and networked security devices. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, electrical blueprints, and wiring diagrams to accurately install or modify system components. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on security hardware including CCTV cameras, sensors, door security systems, and telecommunication wiring. Provide technical troubleshooting support for physical security system issues both on-site in the field and remotely via access software. Assist with system design and integration efforts for new installations or upgrades involving electrical blueprint reading and low-voltage electrical systems. Use hand tools and power tools safely during installation or repair tasks while adhering to electrical safety standards. Collaborate with clients or internal teams to deliver excellent customer service by explaining system operations or troubleshooting steps clearly. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or installer in electrical security systems with a focus on low-voltage electrical wiring and cabling. Strong mechanical knowledge related to computer hardware, sensors, CCTV equipment, fire alarms, and alarm & access control systems. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints for construction or retrofit projects. Knowledge of computer networking principles applicable to remote access software and telecommunication systems used in security infrastructure. Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting across various security devices including surveillance cameras, sensors, alarms, and door security integrations. Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately; experience with low-voltage electrical systems is essential. Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is preferred to facilitate seamless installation processes. Excellent customer service skills combined with strong problem-solving abilities to support clients' physical security needs effectively.
