Available, not reimbursed Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Engineer to support SAP solution delivery for customer systems within a large-scale customer transformation program. This role will focus on technical design reviews, code reviews, test result reviews, integration oversight, vendor coordination, and technical guidance to ensure SAP solutions are implemented according to sound architecture, security, quality, and delivery practices. The Senior IT Engineer will support SAP customer systems related to Meter-to-Cash , Customer Service , SAP S/4HANA Utilities , SAP Service Cloud / C4C , FICA , SAP BTP / Integration Suite , BASIS , ABAP , APIs, BAPIs, and related SAP modules and integrations. This individual will work closely with internal teams, third-party vendors, service providers, technical workstreams, testing teams, and operational stakeholders to support the successful design, delivery, testing, deployment, and stabilization of SAP solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep SAP solution delivery experience, strong technical review skills, and the ability to coordinate across complex, multi-vendor enterprise environments. SAP S/4HANA
Utilities, SAP Service Cloud / C4C, FICA, SAP BTP / Integration Suite, BASIS, ABAP, and related SAP modules and technologies. Review technical designs, configuration approaches, development work, and test results for SAP customer systems. Provide technical guidance on proper SAP implementation practices, design standards, integration methods, and development quality. Oversee SAP application design, configuration, customization, and integration activities in partnership with internal and third-party teams. Ensure SAP solutions align with business requirements, technical standards, security expectations, and program delivery objectives. SAP Development, RICEFW & Integration Oversight Oversee progress on SAP-specific RICEFW development, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows. Ensure RICEFW development remains traceable to approved requirements and aligned with overall program needs. Review ABAP programming, standard SAP APIs, legacy BAPIs, interfaces, and related technical components. Support integration activities involving

Service Cloud, SAP BTP Integration Suite, RESTful APIs, middleware platforms, and non-SAP systems. Facilitate communication across workstreams to ensure SAP solutions integrate effectively with identity and access management, customer systems, data platforms, and other enterprise technologies. Help identify integration risks, technical gaps, defects, and dependency issues early in the delivery lifecycle. SAP Testing & Quality Assurance Guide unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and performance testing for SAP components. Review test cases, test coverage, test execution results, defects, and remediation plans. Ensure test results are documented appropriately in tools such as Jira, qTest, or similar test management platforms. Partner with testing teams, vendors, developers, business analysts, and functional leads to confirm delivered solutions meet requirements. Support defect triage, root cause analysis, retesting, and release readiness activities. Promote strong quality practices throughout SAP design, build, test, and deployment phases. DevSecOps, Security & Compliance Drive adherence to SAP-standard DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, code scanning, automated testing, unit test coverage, and static / dynamic security analysis. Support SAP security role design, access models, authorization concepts, and compliance requirements. Ensure SAP security and access controls align with internal policies and industry-standard SAP practices. Apply knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control and related compliance expectations. Support security, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and operational readiness considerations for SAP solutions. Help ensure SAP solutions support regulatory and customer data privacy requirements relevant to utilities and customer systems. Vendor, Service Provider & Program Coordination Coordinate with vendors, third-party service providers, and implementation partners to support timely delivery and integration of SAP solutions. Review vendor designs, technical deliverables, test documentation, configuration outputs, and implementation plans. Participate in technical workshops, design reviews, status meetings, and program governance forums. Identify and escalate risks, issues, blockers, and delivery concerns related to SAP design, development, testing, deployment, or integration. Prepare status updates, technical summaries, risk inputs, and issue-resolution updates for program stakeholders. Support collaboration across internal teams, managed service providers, and third-party implementation partners. Deployment, Cutover & Hypercare Support Assist in deployment planning, cutover preparation, release readiness, and hypercare activities. Support knowledge transfer to internal operational teams and managed service providers. Help ensure SAP operational support teams understand solution design, integrations, monitoring, issue handling, and support procedures. Participate in go-live readiness discussions and post-deployment stabilization activities. Establish or support industry-standard SAP monitoring, including error handling, performance monitoring, abnormal use monitoring, and operational alerting. Support continuous improvement of SAP implementation, support, and operational processes. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Review SAP technical designs, development outputs, code, configuration, and test results. Provide guidance on proper SAP implementation practices and technical standards. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, service providers, and technical workstreams on SAP delivery activities. Track and review RICEFW development progress and requirement traceability. Support SAP integration design and delivery involving APIs, BTP Integration Suite, middleware, BAPIs, and related platforms. Review unit, SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing documentation. Support defect triage, technical issue resolution, release readiness, and hypercare planning. Participate in program governance, status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution. Support SAP security, GRC, access model, DevSecOps, and compliance-related activities. Help operational teams and managed service providers prepare for long-term support of delivered SAP solutions. Required Qualifications Currently authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder. Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP solution delivery, including design, configuration, development, and integration activities.
