Technical Support Specialist I Daimler Truck North America paid time off, relocation assistance United States, South Carolina, Gaffney Sep 14, 2026 Inside the Role This posting is for Technical Support Specialist I; this position provides technical service support to our customers. This position will interface directly with customers and some dealer technical staff in the resolution of field issues and the application of our warranty process. Successful candidates will interface with our customers and partners and engage in problem solving for support on the products we build. Posting Information We provide a scheduled posting end date to assist our candidates with their application planning. We Take Care of Our Team Position offers a starting salary range of$58,000 - $75,000 USD Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience. What You Drive at DTNA Maintain service records on vehicles including proper documentation of problems, corrective actions, and service/warranty commitments.
Assist in the development of service bulletins, campaigns and updates.
Review technical content for technical literature.
Responsible for service of all FCCC model lines.
Participate in continuous improvement of call center processes.
Being a 24/7 call center, some holiday coverage may be required. Knowledge You Should Bring Knowledge and experience with conflict resolution.
Experience and understanding of automotive or medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicle electrical systems and controls
Demonstrated teamwork skills, including cross-functional collaboration
Microsoft Office and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional Candidates Might Have Associate degree in automotive and prefer 1-2 years of relevant experience or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Automotive or truck dealership work experience
Well-developed technical troubleshooting experience on heavy equipment or automotive.
