Job Summary:
The I.T. Applications Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for all technical support across the Vista family of companies. This role emphasizes application support—particularly for our title production platform (Qualia) and CRM platform (Sugar)—as well as providing comprehensive IT support for the Microsoft 365 Suite, general software, hardware, and other business technologies. This individual will also be responsible for managing workflows and process improvement within our core business applications, supporting user training and adoption, and ensuring systems are used to their fullest potential. This position sits within the IT team and reports to the Director of Information Technology. Future Growth Opportunity This role is designed for an individual who wants to expand beyond application support into broader technology leadership responsibilities. As the organization grows, the Applications Specialist will have opportunities to lead larger technology initiatives, influence technology strategy, mentor others, and potentially progress into senior technology leadership roles.Key Responsibilities:
Application Administration & Support Serve as the subject matter expert for the organization's business applications and software platforms. Manage system configuration, security access, user setup, and maintenance activities. Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolutions with vendors and internal stakeholders. Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve functionality and user experience. Maintain application documentation, procedures, and training materials. Strategic Technology Leadership Contribute to the organization's long-term technology vision and roadmap. Make recommendations regarding technology priorities, system improvements, and future investments. Help establish standards, processes, and best practices for technology governance and application management. Serve as a key advisor to leadership regarding technology opportunities and risks. User Training & Business Support Provide responsive support and guidance to employees regarding business systems and technology tools. Develop and deliver user training programs and resources. Promote best practices and consistent system utilization across departments. Serve as a trusted resource for employees seeking system-related solutions. Technology & Process Improvement Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for workflow automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency. Evaluate current processes and recommend technology solutions that support organizational goals. Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and implementation projects. Participate in testing, change management, and rollout planning for new technology initiatives. Vendor & Project Coordination Act as a liaison with software vendors and technology partners. Track and manage support tickets, enhancement requests, and technology-related projects. Coordinate project timelines, communication, testing, and implementation activities. Assist in evaluating new applications and technology investments.Preferred:
Experience administering enterprise business applications. Project management or implementation experience. Considerable experience with workflow automation, reporting tools, or business process improvement initiatives. Experience training and supporting users across multiple departments. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and influence outcomes without direct authority. Familiarity with ALTA Best Practices. 3+ years management/supervisory experience.Job Type:

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience supporting business applications, software systems, or technology solutions. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Experience supporting cloud-based platforms and productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Zoom, etc.)Physical Requirements:
Physical capacity to lift, carry, and maneuver hardware and office equipment weighing up to 50 pounds independently. This position requires frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling in confined spaces, such as underneath desks or inside server racks, to perform essential cable management and equipment installation tasks.Travel Requirements:
