Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an IT Field Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the frontline support for our clients' technology infrastructure, providing essential on-site technical assistance to ensure seamless operations. Your expertise will help troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support network systems, and deliver exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with diverse IT environments, enhance your technical skills, and contribute to the success of our clients by maintaining their technology systems at peak performance. You get the chance to grow your skills in which ever IT enviornment you choose. You can be exposed to all types of IT enviornments for massive potential growth in Telecommunciations and Low Voltage and PC repair. Pay is soley determined on skill level and hours available for work. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Mac), and peripheral devices such as mobile devices and printers. You choose to service Business or Residential customers. You choose your service radius for travel. For example 20,30,40,50, 100. 200 miles etc. You choose the hours that you want to work You choose what times of day you want to work and what days you want off. Must be able to commit to arriving at a job site at an agreed time. Punctuality is critical for success. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware, software applications, network connectivity (LAN, VPN, TCP/IP), and operating systems. Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repairs on-site; support IT infrastructure components such as switches, routers, and firewalls. Communicate clearly with clients to diagnose problems accurately and provide timely solutions while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and computer management tools. Proven experience in technical support, help desk operations, and customer service excellence. Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues related to computer hardware components and peripherals effectively. Skilled in software troubleshooting across various platforms; capable of resolving issues related to operating systems and applications swiftly. Experience supporting mobile devices and understanding of IT infrastructure components is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex problems quickly and accurately. Pay:
