Responsibilities include day to day support of SAP GRC Access Controls and Process Controls, ensuring compliance with City policies and Segregation of Duties (SoD) requirements. Resources must have hands on user and role security experience for ABAP and Java stacks and exposure to S/4HANA within hybrid OS environments. This is a remote assignment. Candidates will work remotely daily and will remotely access the systems. Travel may be required; the candidate may be required to attend onsite meetings as requested in San Diego, CA.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or 4 years of additional relevant experience may be considered). Minimum 10 years' experience in SAP Security / Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and writing

Status:

USC or GC Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and configuration of SAP GRC. Design and deployment of GRC reports. Daily monitoring of GRC jobs and performance tuning. Design, development, testing, implementation, and support of SAP security roles. Regular system audits to detect deviations or unauthorized activity. Troubleshooting support for functional and technical teams. HANA user security. Single sign-on configuration. Creation of procedures, test plans, and reports. Translation of functional requirements into security technical designs. Development of security test plans. Provide second level user support. Represent ERP Security Team in project activities.

Skills Required:

Full lifecycle implementation experience with

SAP GRC 12

(ARM, EAM, BRM, Access/Process Controls). Experience supporting Internal Controls teams in GRC. Understanding of SOX and ITGC controls. Expertise in GRC rulesets, SoD conflicts, mitigation, monitoring, and audit reporting. Experience with GRC enhancements and WebDynpro tools. Ability to create GRC training materials. Daily monitoring of AC/PC, troubleshooting, and ticket routing. Expertise in

BRF+, MSMP

workflows, custom paths, escalations. Experience with launchpad customization, email templates, logs, and rules upload/download. BRM integration configuration (LDAP, HANA). Experience with user creation and role maintenance supporting both SAP NetWeaver and S/4Hana Strong quantitative and analytical abilities. Excellent writing and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate complex, technical information clearly. Ability to effectively communicate with elected officials, leadership, and the public.
