We are seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) to join our Security & AI team in India. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and business transformation.
As a Forward Deployment Engineer, you will work directly with global security leaders, engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to understand complex challenges and rapidly deploy AI-powered solutions that drive operational efficiency, strengthen cybersecurity defenses, and accelerate innovation across the organization.
Unlike traditional engineering roles, FDEs serve as both builders and strategic partners-embedding with stakeholders to identify opportunities, design solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Deploy AI-Powered Solutions
- Partner with security, infrastructure, and business teams to identify high-impact automation and AI opportunities.
- Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI and machine learning solutions that streamline workflows and improve decision-making.
- Build secure AI applications that support cybersecurity operations, risk management, compliance, and enterprise productivity.
- Rapidly prototype and productionize innovative solutions for business-critical challenges.
Software Development & Integration
Develop scalable applications, APIs, and integrations using modern engineering practices.
Integrate AI technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and vector databases.
Build cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Create reusable frameworks and accelerators that can be adopted across teams.
Security Engineering & Automation
Enhance Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities through automation and AI-driven processes.
Develop tools that improve threat detection, vulnerability management, identity governance, and incident response.
Implement secure-by-design principles throughout the development lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise security standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to global business and technology leaders.
Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, architecture reviews, and solution demonstrations.
Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
Drive adoption through training, documentation, and ongoing support.

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
- Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Security Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across global teams.
