Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate with expertise in building scalable data pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources, and supporting enterprise analytics platforms.

Rate Range:

$50/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and enterprise data products. Develop data ingestion, transformation, integration, and ETL/ELT solutions across multiple data sources. Implement data quality, lineage, and governance standards to ensure data integrity and compliance. Support and enhance Azure and Databricks-based cloud data platforms and analytics solutions. Troubleshoot production issues, improve system performance, and provide ongoing operational support. Collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT development, and cloud-based data platforms. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, data integration, data transformation, and enterprise-scale data pipeline development.
