Summary The Platform Intelligence team at Strider drives intelligence production through the collection, refinement, and application of publicly available data for risk analysis and mitigation. As a foundational part of Strider's intelligence cycle, the team builds and maintains core intelligence capabilities through automated data pipelines, enrichment engines, risk methodologies, and AI-enabled workflows. The team develops intelligence products and capabilities that help answer complex questions related to the economic statecraft of the People's Republic of China (PRC), Russia, Iran, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). We acquire and evaluate new data, develop risk methodologies, assess AI-generated intelligence outputs, and design and prototype new data capabilities in close partnership with Engineering and Product. As a Data Intelligence Analyst II, you will collect, analyze, enrich, and integrate data to help Strider's clients understand economic statecraft risks to their organizations. With a primary focus on the PRC, you will apply Chinese-language expertise, Strider's intelligence methodology and tradecraft standards, structured analytic techniques, and AI-enabled tools to produce and improve intelligence at scale. At this level, you will independently execute established analytical workflows, exercise judgment when approaching new or ambiguous problems, and identify opportunities to improve Strider's data, methodologies, and intelligence capabilities. You will also develop deeper expertise in Strider's data and technology and begin sharing that knowledge with teammates. Your work will contribute directly to intelligence products and capabilities used by companies, research institutions, and government agencies. Key Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in international affairs, data science, computer science, intelligence studies, Chinese language, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. 1-2 years of experience in intelligence analysis, quality assurance, data evaluation, or a related analytical field. Relevant coursework, internships, or service experience may substitute for direct professional experience. Chinese-language proficiency sufficient to independently research, evaluate, and interpret Chinese-language sources for intelligence analysis. Working knowledge of PRC economic statecraft, including relevant tactics, techniques, and procedures and their implications for intelligence analysis and data accuracy. Experience using AI-enabled tools, including AI-native development environments, agentic tools, or large language model interfaces, to support analytical or technical workflows. Demonstrated experience applying structured analytic techniques, such as Analysis of Competing Hypotheses (ACH) and key assumptions checks, to evaluate information and analytical conclusions. Ability to independently evaluate detailed information using established methodologies while exercising judgment when requirements or available information are ambiguous. Strong written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to document analytical findings for technical and non-technical audiences and produce work requiring limited substantive review. Intellectually ambitious, unafraid of ambiguity, and a desire to collaborate on something meaningful. Description In this role, you will take increasing ownership of analytical work from initial research and data evaluation through intelligence production and product improvement. You will operate independently within established frameworks while identifying opportunities to improve how Strider collects, evaluates, and applies data.
