Back Database Developer#2016991 Auburn Hills, Michigan, United StatesApply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Job Description The Database Developer•Senior will assist in planning, designing, developing and implementing moderately complex company databases, for data reporting and analysis. This may vary from updating existing databases to creating databases from inception to completion. This role involves data analysis and interpretation to assist other departments in the manufacturing organization as well. In addition, this individual will utilize object-oriented programming to develop a new user interface to display and collect information from users across the organization.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Identifies data definition, structure, long-range requirements, documentation of database(s), operational guidelines and protectionWrites codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored proceduresResponsible for the maintenance of database dictionaries and integration of systems through database designAssist in establishing database standards and guidelinesInstall, configure, and manage databasesAbility to work on most phases of database administration but may require some instruction and guidance in other phasesMonitor service and problem requests through the work order system, and work with customers to resolve issues in databases and applicationsPerform data analytics using tools such as Qlik Sense to develop reports and visualize data through dashboardsPerform data analysis of manufacturing metrics to provide support to North America assembly plants in identifying top bottleneck areasWork with ICT to migrate server data and set up data algorithms to normalize and ingest informationArchitect data relationships and user interfaces using high level programming languages such as Visual Basic.net, C++, C#, Java and Phyton Location(s) 2367 Walton Blvd., Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326,
United States Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of related experienceExperience with MS-Office and G-SuiteExperience using one or more of the following programming languages and technologies: SQL, Python, ASP.NET, VBA, Qlik Sense, HTML, CSSExperience developing & reporting large and complex databasesAdvanced data analysis, validation and processing skillsAble to multi-task with strict timelinesA team player with great communication and coordination in a team environmentAbility to interface with all levels of employees throughout the plant, from hourly represented employees to Senior LeadershipAbility to work flexible hours and overtime as required
