You will be instrumental in keeping our infrastructure running smoothly, making this an ideal position for someone who enjoys technical challenges and finding effective solutions. Core Duties Oversee and support data center hardware to guarantee peak functionality and continuous service availability. Conduct regular checks and proactive upkeep on networking gear, servers, and essential infrastructure components. Identify and resolve technical glitches, while escalating more intricate challenges to the appropriate teams. Support the setup and deployment of updated hardware and software configurations. Maintain detailed logs of all repair and maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with internal standards. Work alongside colleagues to refine operational workflows and boost overall data center productivity. Take part in an on-call schedule to provide support during urgent or unexpected system events. Required Skills and Experience An Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or a comparable level of professional experience. Between one and three years of hands-on experience working within an IT support or data center environment. Solid grasp of networking principles, server hardware, and general data center management. Experience utilizing various diagnostic tools and standard troubleshooting techniques. Strong interpersonal abilities and a commitment to working effectively within a team. Physical capability to handle heavy equipment and thrive in a demanding work setting. Professional certifications like Network+, CompTIA A+, or similar credentials are considered an advantage.
