IT Systems & Data Coordinator
Job Description
Summary The IT Systems & Data Coordinator is responsible for providing first-level technical support while assisting with the monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of business systems and data quality. This position serves as a liaison between warehouse operations and the IT department by supporting end users, documenting system issues, monitoring data accuracy, and assisting with process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a desire to learn both technical support and business systems analysis. This role will participate in warehouse technology projects, support system users, assist with reporting and data validation activities, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance operational efficiency and data integrity. Essential Responsibilities Provide first-level support for computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, printers, and business applications Respond to user questions and technical issues through phone, email, and in-person support Assist with the setup, deployment, and maintenance of computer hardware and software Support user account administration including account creation, password resets, security permissions, and access requests Assist with maintaining inventory of IT hardware and software assets Support warehouse technology including handheld barcode scanners, wireless devices, and related applications Document technical issues, resolutions, and system enhancement requests Monitor system data and reports to identify data quality issues and report findings to management Assist with validating operational data and investigating discrepancies within warehouse systems Work with warehouse management and IT staff to document business processes and identify opportunities for improvement Assist in the testing and implementation of system enhancements and process changes Help maintain reports, dashboards, and monitoring tools used by operational leadership Participate in user training and support activities for new systems and process changes Coordinate with end users to gather requirements and feedback regarding system performance and enhancements Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned Qualifications/Requirements Associate or bachelor's degree preferred in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field 0-3 years of experience in IT support, business systems support, data analysis, or related field Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, mobile devices, and networking concepts Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power BI preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and user account management preferred Ability to analyze information, identify problems, and recommend solutions Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to document processes, procedures, and technical issues clearly Experience working with data, reports, or operational metrics preferred Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment Perform work tasks which are safe and in compliance with company safety standards Protect self and others from potentially hazardous work conditions Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Travel 0% - 10% Work Environment Work is performed in a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, lift/move up to 50 pounds, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel or crouch.
