Data Coordinator
Job Description
General Summary :
The Data Coordinator is responsible for transforming and transferring data upon request, translating data as needed, and adhering to legal and regulatory standards, amount other duties.
Position Responsibilities:
Monitor and act on data transfer requests from internal and external sources (Customers/Suppliers). Translate CAD data as needed. (CATIA, NX, Autodesk, CREO, SolidWorks, Smirt, etc.). View, edit, redact, and reformat 2D and 3D engineering CAD files. Manage data in job folders and archive job related data. Assist with master backups along with controlling disk space on severs and computers. Monitor data related e-mail notifications and act on notifications and/or forwards messages to the proper managers/leaders. Works closely with the Estimating department to retrieve RFQ data and translate it into viewable documentation software or plotted forms. Assist with IT inventory management. Assist with general help desk support tickets.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize large amounts of data. Excellent communication skills to translate complex problems using non-technical terms. In-depth understanding of modern database and information technologies. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously. Thorough understanding of management and data administration duties such as collection, analysis, and distribution.
Preferred Education and Experience:
• At least 3 years of working experience in data management, data analysis, or other data administration functions including collection and distribution.
• Associate's degree in computer science, Statistics, Business, or related field.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time hourly position ranging between 40 - 56 hours per week based on workload. Regular work week is Monday through Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are scheduled based on workload of the shop.

Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
