Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00/hour
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Coordinator (1st Shift) to support data management and engineering data processing operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for handling data transfer requests, translating CAD files, organizing job data, and supporting IT-related functions. The ideal candidate has strong data management skills, experience working with CAD files, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Monitor and process data transfer requests from internal teams, customers, and suppliers Translate and convert CAD data using systems such as CATIA, NX, Autodesk, CREO, SolidWorks, and SMIRT View, edit, redact, and reformat 2D and 3D engineering files Organize and manage data within job folders and archive systems Assist with data backups and manage server/storage capacity Monitor and respond to data-related email notifications , routing information as needed Support the Estimating team by retrieving RFQ data and converting it into usable formats Assist with IT inventory management and help desk support tickets Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and availability Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively Perform additional duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications Minimum 1+ years of experience in data management, data analysis, or data administration Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and organize large datasets Experience working with CAD files and engineering data formats Understanding of data management systems and information technologies Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously Authorization to work in the United States Additional Qualifications Associate's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field preferred Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment Familiarity with RFQ processes and estimating support workflows Experience with data backup systems and server management Exposure to IT support or help desk functions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to travel between facilities as required Commitment to data accuracy, security, and continuous improvement The Global Edge Consultants, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
