Job Description
Summary Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Clerk to support personnel security, credentialing, and administrative operations at assigned locations. This position is responsible for maintaining records, processing data, conducting background screening support activities, and providing administrative assistance in support of security and personnel management programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient with database management and administrative processes, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion. This role offers the opportunity to support mission-critical security programs while contributing to the efficient operation of government personnel security and credentialing services. Responsibilities Modify, update, and maintain information within automated databases and information systems. Perform data entry, record searches, inquiries, and reporting activities using multiple electronic systems. Generate reports, records, and supporting documentation as required . Conduct NCIC checks on contractors, vendors, visitors, and other authorized individuals in accordance with established procedures. Review results and assist with visitor processing and day pass issuance activities based on approved guidance. Verify driver's license information and eligibility requirements when required . Successfully complete required NCIC training and maintain authorization to operate NCIC information systems. Provide administrative support for Personnel Security, Personal Identity Verification (PIV), and Security Clearance programs. Support Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) and Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 201 credentialing requirements. Provide fingerprint capture services and submit fingerprint records to authorized agencies for processing. Update and maintain fingerprint and personnel security databases. Ensure compliance with records management, information protection, and document control requirements. Upload completed documentation into designated personnel security and records management systems. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive, personal, and security-related information. Work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, when required . Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required . Minimum of three (3) years of specialized experience directly related to administrative support, records management, personnel security, or a related field. Minimum of two (2) years of data entry experience. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a professional office environment. Ability to accurately handle high-volume data entry and repetitive administrative tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Working knowledge of database systems, data entry platforms, and Microsoft Windows-based computer environments. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to successfully meet drug-free workplace requirements, including random testing programs. Ability to achieve a keyboarding speed of at least 35 words per minute with a minimum 80% accuracy rate.
