•34 per hour, depending on experience Reports to: Global Operations Manager About The Tekk Group The Tekk Group provides technology rentals and event support to businesses worldwide. Our equipment includes iPads, laptops, registration systems, printers, touchscreens and networking equipment for conferences, corporate events and meetings. We're looking for a capable Technical Operations Supervisor to take ownership of our Las Vegas warehouse and daily technical operations. The role You will lead a small operational team while working directly with equipment: preparing orders, troubleshooting faults, organising the warehouse and ensuring deliveries leave complete, tested and on time. You must be comfortable setting priorities, delegating work and following through independently. When the CEO is travelling, you will keep the day-to-day operation running smoothly and communicate any issues that need attention. Key responsibilities Team leadership and planning Plan the daily workload around upcoming bookings, deliveries and returns. Allocate tasks, set clear deadlines and check completed work. Train and support technicians, maintaining consistent standards. Coordinate with sales and logistics to ensure customer commitments are achievable. Resolve routine operational issues and escalate problems early with proposed solutions. Technical preparation and quality control Configure, test and prepare iPads, laptops, printers, touchscreens and networking equipment. Install software, apply updates and check devices against each customer's requirements. Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and printing issues. Check outgoing orders for functionality, accuracy, accessories and presentation. Inspect returned equipment, identify faults and arrange repairs or maintenance. Support event installations and customer troubleshooting when required. Warehouse and inventory Maintain an organised, safe and efficient warehouse. Keep accurate records of equipment locations, availability and condition. Oversee picking, packing, labelling, dispatch and returns. Maintain complete equipment kits, including cables, chargers and accessories. Carry out stock checks and investigate missing or damaged items. Improve checklists and procedures to reduce errors and turnaround time. Logistics and communication Coordinate shipping, collections and local deliveries. Ensure equipment and paperwork are ready before dispatch deadlines. Assist with loading, unloading and deliveries when needed. Provide clear updates on order readiness, equipment shortages and operational priorities. What we're looking for Experience in IT equipment rental, event technology, technical support or a comparable environment. Previous experience supervising a team or taking responsibility for daily operations. Practical troubleshooting skills across Windows laptops, iPads, printers and basic networking. Strong organisation, attention to detail and follow-through. Confidence managing competing deadlines and holding others accountable respectfully. Willingness to work directly with equipment and support warehouse tasks. Clear communication and a professional approach with colleagues and customers. Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including moving equipment cases, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. Helpful experience Equipment rental or inventory systems, particularly Current RMS. Mobile device management and bulk device configuration. Zebra label printers, event registration systems and touchscreens. Wi-Fi, routers, access points and temporary event networks. Shipping equipment, asset tracking and dispatch quality control. Working arrangements This is an on-site role based at our Las Vegas operation. Some evening or weekend work and occasional travel may be required around customer events. A valid driver's licence is required for company driving duties. What success looks like Orders leave complete, tested and on time. Team members understand their priorities and complete work to the required standard. Inventory records are accurate and the warehouse stays organised. Equipment faults and shortages are identified before they affect customers. Daily operations run reliably with minimal direction from the CEO.
