72-77 USD per hour Role Overview The IT Project Manager will lead the planning, oversight, and execution of data and advanced analytics projects within the Technology Enablement and Analytics division of Enterprise Transformation Services. The primary goal of these projects is to modernize data and analytics platforms supporting multiple operating units. Many of the projects will be executed by an in-house Managed Service Provider (MSP). The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact between the business, technology teams, MSP, architecture teams, quality advisors, and operating-unit stakeholders. The role will be responsible for project budgeting, scoping, technology decisions, steering committee management, program oversight, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities Plan, manage, and execute data and advanced analytics technology projects. Oversee projects designed to modernize enterprise data and analytics platforms. Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related activities. Manage project budgets, estimates, and actuals . Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements. Partner with architecture and quality teams to support technology decisions. Manage relationships with the Managed Service Provider responsible for technology execution. Coordinate and facilitate steering committee meetings. Provide overall program and project oversight. Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues. Manage communication and relationships with operating-unit (OU) stakeholders. Support data project lifecycle activities from planning through deployment. Help ensure projects are delivered according to business, technical, and quality requirements. Support cloud financial management and cost optimization where applicable. Required Qualifications Data & Analytics Project Delivery
•Required 8+ years of experience in technical delivery of data and analytics projects. Proven experience managing the data project lifecycle . Strong experience with data and analytics application delivery and deployment. Experience working with enterprise data platforms such as: SAP Business Data Cloud (SAP BDC) Snowflake SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) SAP Analytics Cloud SAS Or equivalent enterprise data/analytics platforms. Utility Industry Experience
•Required Proven experience working in the utility sector . Experience with utility data lifecycle and application project delivery. Understanding of the unique technology and project delivery needs of utility organizations. Preferred Qualifications PMP certification . Agile/Scrum Master certification or experience. Experience with utility project budgeting processes. Experience tracking unit estimates and actuals . Strong understanding of data project lifecycle management. Experience with cloud FinOps / cloud financial management . Experience with credit management or related financial processes for cloud platforms. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a senior technical Project Manager who combines strong data & analytics project management experience with utility industry knowledge . They should be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, working with an MSP, controlling project budgets and scope, coordinating technical teams, managing risks, and overseeing projects involving modern enterprise data platforms. ...
