Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of defined IT deliverables, requiring engagement from multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT Change Management, Release Management, and Production Deployment processes, utilizing tools like Jira and ALM to ensurepliance and provide end-to-end visibility into project health.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and ensure the delivery of defined deliverables
Communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, and ensurepliance to standards
Provide end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables
Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates
Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
Conduct Post-Implementation Reviews (PIRs) and ensure CRQ quality,pleteness, andpliance
Lead governance meetings, Change Advisory Board (CAB) discussions, and deployment reviews
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of IT Change Management, Release Management, and Production Deployment processes
- Hands-on experience with Jira, including workflow management, reporting, dashboards, and metrics generation
- Working knowledge of Quality Center/Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
- Experience reviewing, approving, and governing production changes throughout the change lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, assess, escalate, and resolve risks and issues
- Experience coordinating with Application Development, Infrastructure, QA, Operations, and Business teams
- Strongmunication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership
- Proficiency in preparing status reports, deployment metrics, governance dashboards, and executive summaries
- Experience supporting change governance within a large enterprise technology organization
- Familiarity with ITIL Change Management principles and best practices
- Knowledge of production support, release coordination, and deployment controls
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools for data analysis and executive presentations
- Experience with Enterprise Databases and SQL
- Pay range: $43.54 - $51.54 per hour
