These are not intended to be the everyday schedule, but flexibility is an important part of the position. What We're Looking For Technical capability matters, but reliability and ownership matter just as much. The right person:

Project & Customer Responsibility This is an important part of the position. Engineers at VALL Technologies interact directly with customers. You will be expected to understand what you are responsible for, know the status of your projects, communicate changes and roadblocks, and follow commitments through completion. If you prefer a position where someone else handles customers, schedules, project coordination, and follow-up while you concentrate exclusively on network configuration, this position probably isn't the right fit. If you enjoy owning a technical problem and helping a customer get from "we have a problem" to "it's working," you may enjoy this role. Physical & Travel Requirements This position includes hands-on network deployment work.Candidates must be comfortable:
Installing and replacing network equipment Working in equipment rooms, telecom closets, offices, and customer facilities Using basic hand tools Moving and installing typical networking equipment Traveling periodically for customer projects Occasionally working from ladders or at modest heights when necessary VALL Technologies does not operate a bucket truck, and tower or significant work-at-height activities are generally performed by specialized contractors. When assigned a project, you understand the objective, prepare for the work, execute it professionally, communicate what happened, identify anything still outstanding, and make sure the project continues moving forward. You don't need to know everything on your first day. You do need to care about getting things right. About VALL Technologies VALL Technologies is a Colorado-based wireless and network engineering company serving enterprise, municipal, rural broadband, education, hospitality, telecommunications, and other customers. We work across traditional IT networking and advanced wireless infrastructure, giving our engineers exposure to projects and technologies that are difficult to experience in a narrowly specialized networking position.
