Instead of traditional AC electrical wiring, our core platform delivers lighting, networking, and building controls over converged low-voltage DC cabling - the same class of cable that runs your office network today. The result is buildings that use roughly 25% less energy, cost less to build out, and are smarter from day one. Our systems are live in hotels, schools, warehouses, and offices across the country, including the Sinclair Hotel here in Fort Worth - the first DC-microgrid-powered hotel in the United States. As our project pipeline grows, we're looking for a Network Field Engineer to help commission these buildings and keep our customers and installer partners running smoothly after handoff. What You'll Do Commission smart-building projects (schools, warehouses, hotels, and offices) from active construction site to fully operational network.

Configure and validate on-site networks:

managed switch setup, VLAN segmentation, DHCP, and IP addressing schemes. Bring PoE lighting, shades, access control, and other core building systems online, working alongside electricians and system integrators in the field. Troubleshoot link issues, misconfigured devices, and cabling faults under real job-site conditions. Stage and pre-configure equipment at our Fort Worth facility between site visits. Provide remote support to customers and installer partners after project handoff. Build the documentation (network diagrams, IP schedules, and how-to guides) that makes every following project faster for the team. We're open on experience level. Seasoned engineers will run projects independently from an early stage; candidates earlier in their career with solid fundamentals will be trained on our platform, our standards, and low-voltage building systems. Skills 2+ years of hands-on experience in networking, low-voltage systems, or IT field work. Working knowledge of VLANs, DHCP, subnetting, and IP addressing schemes. Experience configuring managed switches via CLI and web GUI. Experience diagnosing and resolving network issues - link problems, misconfigured devices, cabling faults.

Comfortable with hands-on field work:

ladders, lifts, ceiling spaces, and test equipment. Strong documentation habits - network diagrams, IP schedules, and configs that others on the team can follow. Self-directed and dependable; able to stay productive on a small team without close supervision. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites, including occasional overnight trips.
