Full-Time About Unicorr Packaging Group Unicorr Packaging Group is a family-owned manufacturing company headquartered in North Haven, Connecticut. We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our team and support the technology infrastructure that keeps our manufacturing operations running efficiently. This is a hands-on, senior-level position requiring strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide reliable IT support in a manufacturing environment. A background supporting manufacturing operations is strongly preferred. Position Summary The Senior IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving Unicorr Packaging Group's IT infrastructure, systems, servers, virtualization environment, and end-user technology. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of professional IT experience , with significant experience supporting business-critical systems in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and providing support during occasional evenings and weekends when operational requirements demand it. Key Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the company's IT infrastructure and systems. Provide technical support for servers, workstations, networking equipment, applications, and end users. Administer and support Remote Desktop (RDP) applications and RDP farm . Maintain and troubleshoot HP servers and related hardware. Manage and support VMware virtual environments , including virtual machines and associated infrastructure. Monitor system performance, availability, backups, and overall infrastructure health. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, server, and application issues. Support business-critical applications used throughout the manufacturing operation. Work closely with management and employees to identify technology needs and resolve issues quickly. Assist with system upgrades, installations, migrations, and technology projects.

• Experience with IP based phone system. (Nextiva)
• Experience with firewall configuration and administration (Fortinet)
• Security experience including Arctic Wolf and Cynet administration
• Preferred technologies - Dell, HP, Ninja One, Screen connect, Datto, Adobe, Hyper V, Ubiquity Access Points Experienced managing and maintaining Active Directory and Azure environments Maintain appropriate system security, access controls, and user permissions.

Document systems, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes. Coordinate with outside vendors and technology partners when necessary. Help identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, cybersecurity, and technology capabilities. Provide IT support for manufacturing operations and respond to critical system issues that may affect production. Participate in an after-hours support rotation , including occasional nights and weekends. Required Qualifications Minimum 10 years of professional IT experience. Demonstrated experience administering and troubleshooting business IT environments. Hands-on experience with RDP applications and RDP forms . Experience supporting HP servers . Strong experience with VMware and virtualized server environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with server administration and infrastructure support. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple technical issues. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work occasional evenings, nights, and weekends as required for system maintenance, upgrades, or critical issues. Preferred Qualifications Previous IT experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. Experience supporting production/manufacturing systems and business-critical applications. Experience working in a multi-site manufacturing organization. Knowledge of networking, backups, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery. Experience with IT infrastructure projects, system migrations, and technology upgrades. Experience working with third-party vendors and technology service providers.
