We service and warranty our own work. A key responsibility of this position is returning to completed Renovations Now projects to handle warranty and service items for our customers. You'll also assist our installation crews, complete punch-list work, deliver materials, and help wherever needed in the field. We're looking for someone who knows their way around basic tools, can troubleshoot problems, and takes pride in leaving a customer's home with the job completed correctly. What You'll Do Perform warranty and service calls on projects completed by Renovations Now Diagnose issues and complete necessary repairs or adjustments Complete punch-list items following installations Communicate with homeowners about the service being performed Document completed warranty and service work for the office Assist installation crews on bathroom and home remodeling projects as needed Perform minor drywall, trim, caulking, hardware, plumbing fixture, and finish repairs Load, unload, deliver, and organize materials and supplies Assist with demolition, removal, and job-site preparation Protect flooring, furniture, and surrounding areas while working in customers' homes Maintain clean, safe, and professional work areas Help maintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and warehouse materials Perform other construction and field-related duties as needed What We're Looking For Previous construction, remodeling, maintenance, handyman, or service technician experience preferred Comfortable diagnosing and repairing common residential remodeling issues Comfortable using common hand and power tools Basic knowledge of residential construction and repairs Able to work independently and make sound decisions in the field Dependable, punctual, and willing to jump in wherever needed Professional and customer-service oriented — you'll be representing Renovations Now in our customers' homes Strong attention to detail and a commitment to completing repairs correctly Ability to safely lift and carry construction materials and equipment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Experience in any of the following is helpful: Bathroom remodeling Residential warranty or service work Drywall and patching Trim and finish carpentry Plumbing fixtures Caulking and silicone work Flooring Demolition General home repairs About Renovations Now Renovations Now is a growing residential remodeling company based in Fraser, Michigan.
