HLNA is the holding company for our US based operating companies and as such provides direction and support in the areas of IT, procurement, sales, finance, compensation, HR Policy, Organizational Development, legal and compliance, audit and future innovation and planning strategies. We support global initiatives of HLI by providing efficient and compliant services and information from our regional companies activities supporting our customers at American Honda Motor and Honda Development and Manufacturing of America. Overview The Server Administrator and Architect is responsible for the design, administration, and support of the organization's server infrastructure and supporting systems, with a primary focus on security, reliability, performance, and availability. This role works closely with customers, end users, vendors, and service providers to implement technology solutions, resolve issues, and continuously improve system operations. Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required to support maintenance activities, upgrades, and critical system needs. Travel to regional locations may also be required. Essential Functions Tasks Frequency Impact Provide Microsoft Windows administration and support Daily High Provide support and administration for Linux-based servers and systems Daily Medium Provide Enterprise Virtualization support Daily High Administer and support enterprise storage support Weekly Medium Support and maintain Active Directory and Group Policy Daily High Administer and support Microsoft 365 services Daily High Provide Enterprise Backup administration support Weekly Medium Monitor and maintain server and storage performance and availability Daily Medium Troubleshoot and address system issues Daily High Maintain patch management processes and best practices Monthly Medium Promote and maintain information security best practices Daily High Document system setup/config and support procedures Daily Low Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, end users, vendors, and service providers to support infrastructure services and projects. Credentials Qualifications (experience may include a combination of work experience and/or education) Required Technical Expertise - 5+ years (must-have) Windows systems troubleshooting Enterprise virtualization platforms Microsoft Windows Servers (2003-2022+) Active Directory and Group Policy Datacenter storage concepts Windows Server build-out, migrations, and decommissions Networking troubleshooting Device monitoring and reporting Enterprise backup and recovery solutions Windows and infrastructure security best practices Desired Technical Experience (good-to-have) Security-related information, including security tools, controls, configurations, monitoring systems, and cybersecurity operations.
