Stainless Steel Operations Technician Job Description:

Yes Length of Assignment:

This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity for the candidate to be hired on permanently.

Location:

100% on-site in

Carlsbad Hours & Schedule:

Typical hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Flexibility:

There is flexibility for the candidate to start between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. This flexibility is typically granted after an initial two-week rigid training period.

Candidate Qualifications Education:

A high school graduate is acceptable, provided they have a growth mindset and a willingness to learn technical processes.

Years of Experience:

A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience is required.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Excel and Word) is essential. The ability to read technical drawings is required.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SAP is a preferred skill set that would make a candidate stand out.

Background:

The ideal candidate is hands-on and may have a background in the chemical industry. Investigative characteristics and communication skills are highly valued.

The technician will process stainless steel containers, primarily for the M Forward program.

Equipment Testing:

Tasks include performing leak checks, particle checks, and moisture checks using specialized equipment.

Assembly:

The role may involve performing container builds.

Candidates must follow established work instructions and read technical drawings.
