Job Requirements Reston, VA Top Secret/SCI Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description We are seeking a Mission Data Product Owner to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). This role serves as the primary interface between mission stakeholders and technical teams, responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering data products that enhance operational awareness and decision-making. The Mission Data Product Owner will manage and refine product backlogs, translate complex mission and data requirements into actionable user stories, and ensure alignment between stakeholder priorities and development team capacity. This position plays a critical role in supporting data ingestion, pipeline development, and AI/ML-enabled solutions designed to address evolving mission needs. Working within an Agile environment, the Product Owner will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and mission stakeholders across DTRA to deliver scalable, mission-focused solutions in a fast-paced, classified setting.

Reston, VA and Ft.
Belvoir, VA Required:
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or other similar Agile role supporting development and/or data teams Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and AI/ML concepts Knowledge of the data ingestion process, to include the process of building data pipelines and the criteria for selecting and preparing data for ingest to a platform Experience using project management tools such as Jira or Confluence Experience engaging with stakeholders at various levels Ability to communicate requirements, manage scope, and maintain alignment between stakeholder needs and team capacity Ability to visualize, describe, and assess CWMD threats and hazards that impact mission execution TS/SCI clearance High school degree or
GED Desire Qualifications:
Experience supporting DoD intelligence environments or supporting defense-related programs, specifically related to Counter-Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Experience with Jupyter notebooks, LLM management and QA/QC, and prompt engineering Experience working on classified systems Knowledge of Agile frameworks, such as Scrum or SAFe Ability to foster collaboration across various teams Possession of excellent communication and relationship-building skills Knowledge of DoD CWMD policies, strategies, and doctrine Knowledge of the operations planning process, such as MDMP and JOPP Bachelor's Degree in International Relations or a related field Company Description The Red Gate Group, founded in 2006, is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Company based in Chantilly, VA.
