Job Description

Job Description The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating an Agile software development team in the successful delivery of business-focused technology solutions. This individual serves as a servant leader, guiding and coaching both the Scrum Team and broader organization on Agile, Scrum, Lean, and enterprise Agile practices. They support the Product Manager and Development Team in achieving iteration and release goals while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. The Scrum Master facilitates all Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, reviews, and team demonstrations. They proactively remove impediments, facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution, improve communication across stakeholders, and help teams maximize self-organization and performance. This individual also partners with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Development, DevOps, Release Management, and leadership groups to ensure alignment, execution, and delivery success. Additionally, they mentor team members, promote Agile best practices, and help maintain an effective and well-managed product backlog. Skills and Requirements First-level Scrum Master certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I). 5+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master within software development environments. Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Lean, and enterprise Agile frameworks, including SAFe. Experience utilizing Jira or similar Agile project management tools. AI tooling experience and experience creating plugins Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with changing priorities.
