About the Role The Agile Delivery Lead / Senior Scrum Master drives predictable, outcome‑focused delivery across complex technology initiatives. This role blends servant leadership, delivery accountability, agile coaching, and cross‑team coordination to ensure teams deliver high‑quality digital and platform solutions. You will partner closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Architecture, Project Governance Office, and business stakeholders to maintain transparency, flow, and continuous improvement while fostering a healthy, collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Agile Facilitation & Team Leadership Serve as Scrum Master / Agile Lead for one or more cross‑functional teams within PNC Insurance.Facilitate agile ceremonies:
Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement. Coach teams toward self‑organization, accountability, and high performance. Ensure adherence to agile principles, working agreements, and flow‑based delivery practices. Foster a culture of psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous learning. Delivery Leadership & Predictability Maintain a disciplined sprint cadence and ensure teams deliver against commitments. Own sprint‑level and release‑level predictability using metrics such as velocity, burndown, cycle time, throughput, and flow efficiency. Use Azure DevOps to visualize work, manage dependencies, and drive data‑driven insights. Identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and blockers early. Ensure delivery aligns to business outcomes such as regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, customer experience, or modernization goals. Stakeholder Partnership & Decision Facilitation Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog and value‑driven roadmap. Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Architects on capacity planning, technical health, and cross‑team dependencies. Present clear options, tradeoffs, and impacts to drive timely decision‑making. Provide transparent communication on progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership, PMO, and business partners. Agile Coaching & Organizational Maturity Coach individuals and teams on agile mindset, behaviors, and best practices. Support organization‑wide agile maturity and standardization initiatives. Help teams evolve from ceremony‑driven execution to outcome‑driven delivery. Promote experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement. DevOps & Engineering Enablement Champion Azure DevOps best practices: dashboards, automated reporting, and work item hygiene. Support adoption of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, trunk‑based development). Encourage flow‑based delivery to reduce cycle time and improve predictability. Required Qualifications 5+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or similar role supporting software development teams. Strong experience working in PNC Insurance within different lines of business including Underwriting, Data, Claims domain etc with deep working knowledge of Actuarial business and technology. Strong hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps preferred. Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, and delivery predictability in complex environments. Deep understanding of Data and Data Management. Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict‑resolution skills. Ability to interpret delivery metrics and use them to improve flow and throughput. Experience working in fast‑paced, evolving environments Preferred Qualifications Experience in Actuarial background. Experience in P&C insurance (policy, billing, claims, underwriting, or data) or other regulated industries. Background in software development, QA, product management, or DevOps, data management. Experience coaching multiple teams or supporting transformations. Familiarity with regulatory cycles, vendor integrations, and modernization programs.SALARY:
The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only. In determining the actual salary within this range, MSIG USA will consider a candidate's relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.Additional Benefits:
