MoneySpot is a fast-growing international online consumer finance company that utilizes fin-tech to provide customers with quick and easy access to cash via a completely online and automated process. Our US subsidiary, Sunshine Loans, has its office in Santa Monica, only a short walk away from 3rd Street Promenade. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our team. As a Junior Software Engineer, you will work closely with a team of developers and other members in different roles to design, develop, and maintain Salesforce integrations and applications.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and contribute to the development of Salesforce applications and supporting systems. Design and implement integrations between Salesforce, third-party services, APIs, and internal systems. Develop, test, troubleshoot, and improve both new and existing applications. Work with large datasets and build solutions with scalability, reliability, and maintainability in mind. Investigate unfamiliar systems and technical problems independently while knowing when to collaborate, ask questions, or escalate. Gather and analyze business and technical requirements and provide thoughtful technical recommendations. Maintain clear documentation so that technical knowledge, decisions, and implementations can be understood and continued by other team members. Communicate progress, blockers, mistakes, and technical concerns openly and proactively. Adapt quickly to changing priorities, requirements, and technologies in a fast-moving development environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with programming languages such as Apex, Java, C++, JavaScript, and SQL. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, APIs, and modern web development concepts. Experience integrating third-party APIs and services with application systems. Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to learn quickly, work independently, communicate effectively, and adapt in a fast-moving environment. Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the quality and completion of your work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture (or equivalent) and best practices. Familiarity with AI-assisted or agentic software development workflows.

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
