Job Description
Requirements:
Experience in business development, outside sales, account management, customer relations, or another relationship-driven role Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills Comfortable initiating conversations, making cold calls, visiting prospective referral partners, and developing new accounts Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and referral sources Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and customer service skills Self-motivated with the ability to manage daily activities and follow-up independently Strong organizational and time-management skills Professional, dependable, persistent, and comfortable working toward established sales goals Ability to travel locally throughout an assigned territory Preferred 1-3+ years of business development or outside sales experience Experience within restoration, roofing, construction, home services, property services, insurance, or a related industry Existing relationships within the local market Relationships with insurance professionals, property managers, plumbers, roofers, facility managers, multifamily operators, commercial property owners, or other potential restoration referral sources Basic understanding of water, fire, mold, storm, mitigation, contents, and reconstruction services Familiarity with property insurance claims and the restoration process Experience using CRM or sales-tracking software Experience attending networking events, trade associations, or community organizationsResponsibilities:
Develop new business opportunities throughout the assigned territory Prospect for potential referral partners through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, referrals, email, and community involvement Build relationships with insurance professionals, property managers, plumbers, roofers, facility managers, commercial property owners, multifamily operators, and other potential referral sources Maintain consistent contact and follow-up with prospects and existing referral partners Educate referral partners and prospective clients about the company's restoration services and capabilities Identify potential water, fire, mold, storm, reconstruction, and other property-damage opportunities Attend networking events, trade organizations, community events, and industry functions Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities, referral relationships, opportunities, and pipeline activity Collaborate with estimating, mitigation, reconstruction, operations, and leadership teams when new opportunities are generated Assist with customer introductions and project handoffs as needed Meet or exceed established activity, referral, and revenue goals Represent the company professionally throughout the local marketCompensation, Benefits & Perks:
