Contract / Full-Time (Based on Engagement) Overview We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Data Integration Architect with a strong focus on Epic and clinical systems to lead the design and execution of enterprise data integration strategies. This role is critical to enabling interoperability, data accessibility, and advanced analytics across clinical, operational, and financial domains. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in healthcare data standards, integration frameworks, and enterprise data architectures, with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements in a highly regulated environment. Responsibilities Design and implement integration frameworks connecting EHR systems (Epic) and other healthcare applications to enterprise data platforms Develop and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for clinical, operational, and financial data Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards such asHL7, FHIR
, and HIPAA Collaborate with clinical, operational, and business stakeholders to define integration use cases Lead data mapping, transformation logic, and validation processes Optimize data flow for performance, scalability, and reliability Enable downstream analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives with high-quality data Provide technical leadership and mentorship to integration and data engineering teams Required Qualifications Extensive experience working with Epic or similar EHR systems in enterprise healthcare environments Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale data integration solutions Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline development Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Experience working in regulated environments with strict compliance requirements Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Must-Have Skills Direct, hands-on experience integrating Epic data into enterprise data platforms or analytics environments Strong working knowledge ofHL7, FHIR
